The Stevens Newport advantage

Research-active faculty

Learn from the same faculty who teach at Stevens’ main campus in Hoboken. Our professors bring their groundbreaking insights directly to the classroom.

Our classroom.
Your launchpad.

Stevens is offering MBA and M.S. Information Systems programs weekday evenings in downtown Jersey City. Specifically designed for full-time working professionals, these special cohorts are taught by the same research faculty in Stevens' on-campus programs. Combining tuition assistance with special cohort-only tuition rates, the Newport program can make the impossible possible for promising part-time students.

Curricular themes

A broad suite of business skills that will help you frame problems and communicate objectives to leaders and team members.

Technology integration

Understand the needs of the business and think critically about technology’s role in meeting those demands.

Analytics and strategy

Cultivate the perspective required of managers who determine how technology helps professionals and businesses accomplish goals.

Develop your inner leader as you learn to confidently bring your expertise to bear on the strategic direction of the organization.

How it works

Cohort experience. In a cohort, students move through a scripted program in lockstep over a set period of time. This creates a focused, immersive experience where enduring relationships are built. Our cohort experience creates value far beyond the classroom — and it's been a formula for student success for more than 30 years.

Value. Because these programs are delivered off campus or virtually, Stevens offers these programs at a special price. Combined with employer tuition assistance options, this special rate makes a graduate business degree affordable for many working professionals.

Support. Cohort programs are tailored to the needs of working professionals with families. A dedicated cohort support desk guides you from application to graduation, so you can focus entirely on academics.

All cohort programs are delivered live, whether in person or online, with the same rigorous coursework taken by full-time students.

Stevens MBA

A thorough immersion in management and leadership, with special emphasis on how analytics, data and technology create new business opportunities.

M.S. Information Systems with Analytics certificate (Wednesdays)
